Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Construction Project Manager Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 in Canton, OH. You’ll work full-time for 6–8 months, supporting a project team from estimating through site visits while taking a temporary break from school as needed.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in scheduling, design coordination, permitting, pre-construction buyout, and on-site management with access to leadership and an ESOP‑adjacent learning path.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship or co‑op construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• AssistEstimating with project proposals and dollar values.
• Create a working timeline for subcontractors and trades.
• Attend design meetings with owners, engineers and architects.
• Prepare bid instructions, schedules and drawings for subs.
• Fill out permit forms and submit with drawings and fees.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and communicate next steps.
• Process subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and pay applications.
• Visit job sites with the PM to monitor progress.
