ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Co-op to gain hands-on experience in managing construction projects. You will assist with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, and subcontractor coordination while earning competitive hourly pay and a housing stipend.

The role offers a clear path to full-time employment and exposure to senior leadership, with internship hours counting toward ESOP eligibility and a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating project proposals and assign dollar values
• Scheduling a working timeline for subcontractors and trades to complete the project on time
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design proposals from engineers and architects
• Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals and award subs
• Fill out permit forms, submit with drawings and fees, then send to city/county/fire for approval
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate with PM and subcontractor for ordering materials
• Handle subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications
• Visit job site with PM to ensure project is progressing smoothly
