Job summary

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join the Capital Improvement Division. The role will manage city capital projects, perform site visits, and supervise field inspections, with a focus on water/wastewater, roadway, and facilities improvements.

Standard schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with potential for flex scheduling after a 6-month probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 4+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience with design, construction, and contract administration for capital projects.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction planning, project management, and contract administration for city capital projects.
• Conduct site visits and supervise field inspections during construction.
• Identify issues, manage costs, and report progress to stakeholders.
