Job summary

Element Outdoor Living, a coastal Wilmington, NC-based landscape design, installation and maintenance firm, is seeking a Construction Project Manager. You will own the client experience from kickoff to completion, drive pre-construction planning, bidding support, schedule and cost management, and coordinate subcontractors to deliver luxury residential projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of high-end residential PM experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency

• 3–5+ years of high-end residential landscape or construction project management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation, materials, and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Own the client experience from project kickoff through completion, maintaining proactive communication around scope, budget, timelines, changes, and expectations.
• Support the pre-construction and bidding process by developing detailed project plans, labor requirements, material takeoffs, equipment needs, subcontractor scopes, and potential project risks.
• Review estimates to ensure projects are buildable, executable, and aligned with field production capabilities.
• Translate design intent into a clear and practical project execution strategy. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, sequencing, dependencies, and milestones using Monday.com and Gantt-based planning.
• Prepare and deliver complete project packages to Operations prior to project launch, including approved plans, estimates, subcontractor scopes, material schedules, permits, logistics, milestones, and risk-mitigation plans.
• Provide Operations with consistent visibility into project status, subcontractor progress, schedule changes, risks, delays, and necessary adjustments.
• Identify appropriate upsell and change-order opportunities that support both client needs and revenue growth.

Element Outdoor Living has the perfect Construction Project Manager opportunity for you! We are a dynamic, growth-focused and progressive landscape design, installation and maintenance company, located by the coast in Wilmington, North Carolina.

This is a client-facing, outcome-driven role responsible for owning the client experience, pre-construction planning, bidding support, project strategy, subcontractor execution, risk identification, financial awareness, project communication, and final project delivery.

We offer a competitive compensation package for our Construction Project Manager including a base salary of $75,000-$85,000 (based on experience) plus health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and a company vehicle!

Construction Project Manager Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of high-end residential landscape or construction project management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation, materials, and labor costs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead, delegate, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience using landscape management tools such as Aspire and Gantt-based project plans in Monday.com
