Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead asphalt paving projects from award to completion, working with operations teams, customers and partners to deliver safe, on-schedule and profitable work.

You may also support estimating activities, including reviewing plans, quantity takeoffs, and developing competitive bids, while building strong relationships with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects, preferably within heavy civil, roadway, paving, infrastructure, or related construction industries.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Estimating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Execution: Manage asphalt paving projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and production plans.
• Partner with Superintendents and Operations leaders to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Monitor job costs, productivity, subcontractor performance, and overall project progress.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, trucking, and subcontractor activities to support successful delivery.
• Review project quantities, pay estimates, invoicing, and financial performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
