About the Role

The Project Manager will plan, budget, control, monitor, and supervise construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
Project Execution
  • Organizes and oversees job site administration
  • Assures that all materials are submitted and approved for timely execution of the work.
  • Responsible for creating and managing all submittals for the project
  • Identifies and resolves all issues, changes, and RFIs
  • Coordinates with field team to ensure quality of work and adherence to all definable features of work
  • Visit jobsite regularly and provide reports to keep project and executive team apprised of progress and issues
Schedule Management
  • Develops, monitors, and updates project schedules
  • Coordinates with field leaders to ensure project work stays on schedule
Cost Management
  • Monitors all cost reports for adherence to budgets and opportunities for profit maximization
  • Provides timely submission of invoices
  • Generates, negotiates, and tracks all change orders
Communications
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with all project participants (e.g., Field Leadership, GC team, Owner's rep, Architect/Engineer)
  • Establishes, manages, and sees that project specific information systems are maintained
  • Coordinates site activities with field teams
  • Communicates schedule revisions to all stakeholders, as appropriate
  • Communicates project budget status and issues to Atlantic executive management in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of construction Project management experience is required
  • Detailed knowledge of Commercial Concrete
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Fluency in English is required
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills - experience working in Excel or other spreadsheet tools
  • Ability to read and understand complex drawings and specifications
  • Complex issue negotiation and resolution
  • Excellent communication and ability to clearly articulate plans to field construction leaders
  • Pay applications and invoice preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant Construction tools: Procore, Bluebeam, or PlanGrid software
  • Overall project team leadership & mentorship
  • Job Status Report, profit plans, and forecasting management
