Renewyx is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead EPC projects from engineering design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout. Remote work available with preference for Midwest-based candidates in the US.

The role requires ground-up substation construction experience up to 345kV, strong schedule and budget management, and proven client liaison skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing utility-scale EPC projects with ground-up substation construction.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, or data center projects a plus.
• Hands-on HV electrical experience at utility scale (145kV+).
• Lead EPC lifecycle from engineering through closeout.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership.
• Proven contract administration and invoicing experience.
• Primary client liaison on large, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Proficient with Procore and MS Project.

Salary Range: $140,000 – $170,000

They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead EPC projects from engineering design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans, serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies, conduct regular site visits, and drive collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver on time and on budget.

High voltage experience building substation projects from ground up is a firm requirement for this role. The organization needs someone who has led substation construction as a core part of their project scope, at voltages up to 345kV. Someone who has operated in high voltage electrical environments at scale and brings the technical depth and site-level confidence that comes with it. If your background does not include hands-on high voltage experience in one of these project types, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

• 5+ years managing utility-scale EPC projects, with a proven track record that includes ground-up substation construction as a primary scope item
• Preferred experience working with utility scale solar, BESS, or Data Center projects
• Demonstrable hands-on experience working in high voltage electrical environments at utility scale (145kV+)
• Demonstrated ability to lead all phases of an EPC project lifecycle from engineering and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and closeout
• Proven experience managing complex project schedules, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams across concurrent projects
• Strong background in contract administration, change order management, invoicing, and project reporting
• Experience serving as the primary client liaison on large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in Procore and MS Project or equivalent project management tools
• Comfortable traveling for regular site visits as required while managing day-to-day responsibilities remotely
