Job summary

Blattner Company is looking for a construction project manager to lead self-perform construction projects, ensuring safety and quality at job sites. You'll manage significant budgets, develop and oversee contracts, and maintain regular communications with clients to update on progress.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in construction management and is skilled in customer relations. The role requires around 50% travel and offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including employer-paid insurance and retirement plans.

Day in the Life

• Leading safety and quality initiatives at a site level
• Developing, reviewing, and managing owner contracts and subcontracts
• Managing costs and scheduling labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors
• Constant communication with the owner/client about progress and conflict management
• Traveling to the job site (minimum 50% required travel)

What You'll Need

• Experience managing self‑perform construction projects with a minimum budget of $30M
• Exceptional customer and client relationship skills
• Knowledge of schedule and budget creation, control, and monitoring
• Contract and subcontract development and management experience
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)

• Financial forecasting experience (estimates to and at completion, cash, and cost flow)
• A proven record of safety program management and implementation
• Knowledge of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and controlling/implementing site‑wide quality program effectiveness

Compensation: $152,527.00 – $221,165.00 (Individual Compensation to be determined based on experience and qualifications).
