Construction Project Manager

Teksky LLC Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina Area

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects from planning through closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coordination, and builds strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from pre-construction through final completion
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance
  • Obtain required permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals
  • Select, contract, and manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, foremen, and field crews
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and timelines; proactively resolve issues
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and correspondence
  • Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety regulations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Manage project closeout, including punch lists and final documentation
  • Reports To: Business Unit Leader / Senior Management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Must have DOT experience and managing multi-million dollar projects specifically with DOT.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience (heavy highway, civil, or commercial preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Experience with Bid2Win or similar estimating tools is a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean 10-year MVR
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
