Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• PM experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals.
• Valid US driver\'s license.
• Familiarity with AISC and PCI standards preferred.
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera) preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with field measurements.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost-control standards.
• Knowledge of steel construction materials methods and tools.
• Experience with Tekla or FabTrol is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure project success and develop schedules.
• Review specifications, prepare critical documents, and maintain detailed progress reports.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.

Your day as a Project Manager

You will oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project success, from participating in steel detailing to creating comprehensive schedules. You will be responsible for reviewing specifications, preparing critical documents, and maintaining detailed reports to track progress as well as preparing and negotiating change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients. Effective communication and strong client relationships will be key in this role, as you coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders.
