Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead onsite structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals projects.

You’ll coordinate with design teams, fabricators, and subcontractors to keep schedules, reviews, and site safety on track while delivering quality, on-time results. You’ll review specifications, prepare critical project documents, and manage change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of education and experience.
• Prior Project Management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals.
• A valid US driver's license.
• Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera preferred.
• Understanding mathematics and basic field tools for measurements.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in steel construction.
• Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol software programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success, including steel detailing and schedule creation.
• Review specifications, prepare critical documents, and maintain detailed progress reports.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders; maintain strong client relationships.

Your day as a Project Manager

You will oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects. You will be responsible for reviewing specifications, preparing critical documents, and maintaining detailed reports to track progress as well as preparing and negotiating change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.
