Job summary

RQ Construction LLC in Norfolk, VA is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead DoD projects from pre-construction through completion. This on-site role requires directing teams, schedules, budgets, quality, and safety to deliver complex builds on time and within scope.

You will work on active military projects in Norfolk, leveraging a strong background in construction management and design-build delivery. Relocation support may be available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of progressive construction experience.
• 2+ years managing commercial construction projects.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet-based systems.
• Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required; training may be provided as needed.
• STS certification preferred.
• LEED GA or AP/AP+ credentials are a plus.

With 30 years of experience, RQ Construction is a nationally and internationally recognized design-build contractor specializing in fast-track Department of Defense projects.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
