Summary:

The Incumbent, reporting to the Director of Construction, shall oversee construction projects, including new build and rehab properties within the scope and budget requirements and construction schedule. The Project Manager will be a single point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and Habitat staff regarding project details from Pre-Construction through completion. The Project Manager will also work directly with both the Director of Construction and the Director of Operations to maintain accurate record keeping for projects and their various components. This position will be primarily office based but will require some daily travel to various construction sites to assist with project management.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate subcontractor work on multiple rehab and new construction projects, ensuring work meets Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity (LLHFH) Construction Standards.
• Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers and vendors to further improve our partnerships.
• Collaborate with Director of Construction to develop Scopes of Work for construction projects.
• Coordinate with the Construction Team, including, but not limited to the Director of Construction, Director of Operations, Project Manager(s), Outreach Manager, and Director of Family Services.
• Responsible for the assigned Pre-Construction tasks including estimates, permitting, scheduling, and ordering.
• Responsible for management of safety standards at assigned construction sites.
• Responsible for the timely submission of assigned permits for Construction Projects.
• Coordinate construction planning with Director of Family Services and architectural agents, as directed and necessary.
• Maintain a database of subcontractor W9s and Cert. of Insurance.
• Present publicly on Habitat construction work and home maintenance from time to time.

Specifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) required. Familiarity with project management software preferred.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of home building, home rehabilitation, and construction processes required.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license and means of transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
• The ability to obtain an OSHA 10 Safety Certificate within 6 months of date of hire, if not already certified.
• The ability to manage planning, support, and execution of construction related tasks as assigned by the Director of Construction.
• Have or obtain a Competent Person certification according to HFHI, by completing the Competent Person Safety Training or an approved OSHA #510 course.
