Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Project Manager to oversee multi-family and commercial construction projects from planning to turnover. You’ll coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure safety, scope alignment, and on-time, on-budget delivery.

You’ll interpret plans, manage budgets, and prepare regular progress reports, while leveraging software like Bluebeam and Sage.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid Driver’s License.
  • 3+ years of construction project management experience (commercial and/or residential).
  • Strong understanding of modern construction methods and means.
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with construction management, estimating, and takeoff software; Bluebeam and Sage a plus.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning through turnover.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, internal teams, and owners; ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules; distribute and adjust to milestones.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Estimators, Suppliers, and Contractors for smooth logistics.
  • Schedule site visits to verify scope, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Coordinate permit processes and inspections with authorities.
  • Provide timely reporting of project metrics to stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Review plans and documents to identify inconsistencies; propose solutions.
  • Manage change orders between contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Close out projects with final budget reconciliation and client signoff.
  • Lead field meetings to review progress and address issues.
  • Conduct post-project analysis to identify successes and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize costs and profitability.
  • Collaborate with estimators, designers, and support staff on budgets and estimates.

About the position...

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial and residential construction projects for the company. This role will be coordinating with subcontractors, internal team members, ownership, other key stakeholders, and serves as the direct point of contact to ensure jobs are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through construction and turnover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, distributing them to stakeholders and adjusting as needed to meet key milestones.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Estimators, Suppliers, and Contractors to ensure smooth logistical flow of materials and services.
  • Schedule and attend regular site visits to ensure safety, scope, and schedule compliance.
  • Coordinate with permitting officials to ensure all requirements are met and inspections are completed.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of project metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Review plans and project documentation to understand requirements, identify inconsistencies, and recommend solutions.
  • Manage change orders, coordinating between contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Close out projects, including final budget reconciliation, client signoff, and administrative closure.
  • Host field meetings with ownership, management, and project teams to review progress and address issues.

  • Collaborate with estimators, designers, and other support staff to develop accurate project budgets and estimates.
What we are looking for from you...
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • 3+ years' experience in construction project management experience in commercial and/or residential/multi-family
  • A strong understanding of modern construction methods and means is required
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
  • The ability to read and interpret construction plans is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or related field is highly preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent with a focus on construction project management and project accounting is preferred but not required
  • Experience with construction management, estimating, and takeoff software is preferred - Bluebeam and Sage is a plus
  • Safety Oriented – OSHA Certification is highly preferred but not required
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
