Job summary

Colliers International in Rosemont, IL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site construction projects from initiation through completion.

You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality, coordinate with clients, brokers, vendors, and internal teams, and travel to various locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to receive feedback constructively and work effectively with limited direction.
  • Working knowledge of financial terms and principles, with the ability to perform basic financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high‑quality project delivery on time and within the allocated budget.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with clients and brokers to clarify scope and deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with internal staff, external clients, and vendors, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Oversee multiple projects across various locations, guiding the full lifecycle from identification through design, planning, client approvals, permitting, construction, and completion.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain documentation in alignment with company and client governance standards.
  • Review and support change requests by assessing impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, tracking actual start and finish dates and providing timely, accurate updates.
  • Effectively prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.
  • Leverage expertise in proposal development, analytical review, cost estimating, and interior project execution.
  • Maintain a general understanding of construction drawings.
  • Travel as needed to various property and construction locations in suburban and downtown areas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation

Approximate annual range: $112,796 – $121,367.

  • Annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance.
