Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Project Manager to own end-to-end data center buildouts—from contract execution through commissioning and handoff. You will build detailed schedules, track milestones and budgets, and coordinate across engineering, procurement, finance, and external partners.

You’ll identify risks early, run reviews with senior leadership, and develop repeatable systems as the pipeline grows. Strong communication to C-suite and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of project management experience in data centers, construction, energy infrastructure, or complex capital projects.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale physical projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong command of project management fundamentals: scheduling, cost tracking, risk management, change control.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external contractors without direct authority.
• High ownership mentality — you close loops, you don't wait to be asked twice.
• Clear, direct communicator comfortable presenting to C-suite and customer stakeholders.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written.
• Experience with modular or prefabricated data center deployments.
• Familiarity with electrical infrastructure (transformers, switchgear, MV/LV systems).
• PMP, PE, or equivalent certification.
• Background working directly with hyperscalers, neo-cloud customers, or colocation operators.
