ONSITE - MONTERREY CA

We are representing a leading Design-Build contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale commercial and military construction projects across the West Coast. This organization has built a strong reputation delivering accelerated ground-up projects for both public and private sector clients, with a particular focus on Department of Defense construction.

This is an opportunity for a driven Project Manager to take ownership of complex projects from concept through completion while working within a collaborative, team-focused environment delivering high-profile builds nationwide.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of Design-Build commercial and military construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial and military construction projects through all phases of delivery
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
• Coordinate with field teams, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
• Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
• Support design coordination and Design-Build project execution
• Maintain accurate project reporting, forecasting, and documentation
• Lead communication between project stakeholders and field operations teams
• Utilize construction management software and scheduling tools to track project progress
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining client satisfaction

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• 6+ years of progressive experience within the construction industry
• Experience working on ground-up commercial construction projects
• Design-Build project experience preferred
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and construction sequencing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project environments
• Experience with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, and Revit
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification
• CPR / First Aid Certification
• STS Certification
• LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) credentials
