Job summary

BKB Enterprises seeks a Commercial Construction Project Manager in Bonsall, CA to lead restaurant, retail and hospitality projects from bidding through closeout with strong planning and team collaboration.

Requires 10+ years of PM experience (TI or ground-up), proficiency in Procore and scheduling tools, and excellent leadership and communication to keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
• Experience managing TI and/or ground-up construction projects.
• Restaurant, retail, or hospitality project experience preferred.
• Procore proficiency required or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial projects from bidding through closeout.
• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution.
• Review plans for constructability and coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, procurement and documentation.
• Prepare bid packages and qualify subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules.
• Monitor budgets, costs and project performance.
• Lead communication with owners, architects, consultants, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Support field operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Commercial Construction Project Manager

Location: Bonsall, CA

Salary Range: $110,000–$150,000

Our Project Managers lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout using proven systems, proactive planning, and strong team collaboration. You'll have the support, technology, and leadership needed to focus on delivering successful projects not managing chaos.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects from bidding through closeout
• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution
• Review plans and specifications for constructability
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, procurement, and documentation
• Prepare bid packages and qualify subcontractors
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Commercial Construction Project Manager
• Experience managing projects from bidding through closeout
• Commercial TI and/or ground-up construction experience
• Restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficient in Procore (certified or willing to obtain certification before start)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality
• Full-time, in-office position located in Bonsall, CA
• Must live within approximately 30 miles of the office
