The Encompass Group is partnering with a growing design-build construction firm seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team in Brighton, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex multifamily construction projects including apartment communities, townhomes, condominiums, and multi-story developments with underground parking structures. Responsibilities
  • Manage multifamily and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee complex projects including apartment complexes, townhomes, condos, and multi-story developments
  • Coordinate daily with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Lead project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution
  • Work closely with Project Engineers and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders throughout the construction process
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining timelines and quality standards
  • Support a collaborative design-build delivery process from planning through construction completion
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
  • Multifamily construction experience
  • Experience with complex building projects including townhomes, condominiums, mixed-use, or multi-story developments
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Design-build project experience highly preferred
