As Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing the build-out of new operational and R&D sites for Castelion. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, architects, and local authorities to ensure our facilities are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with our mission needs. This role requires a high level of autonomy, field presence, and the ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

  • Source and manage contractors, negotiate contracts, and oversee day-to-day execution
  • Coordinate with local jurisdictions to secure necessary permits and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Provide regular reporting on progress, cost, and key milestones to leadership
  • Travel as needed to support active and upcoming site development projects (primary sites include Torrance, CA and Midland, TX)
Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management or site development
  • Proven ability to lead fast-paced, ground-up construction or expansion projects
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, contracts, permitting, and project controls
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between project sites
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, R&D, or industrial infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with environmental permitting or DoD compliance requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

  • High Commitment, High Initiative. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for Castelion's mission and consistently look for ways to contribute to the company's technical goals and prevent hardware blockers. Capable of tactfully managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve company‑desired outcomes without compromising relationships.
