Job summary

McGough offers an Internship/Co-op in Project Management to provide hands-on, real-world experience on high-profile construction projects. Students will engage in bid solicitation, quantity take-offs, subcontractor bids, and schedule management while gaining exposure to multiple roles within the organization.

You’ll participate in PM and corporate meetings, receive mentorship, and have travel to project sites as part of the experience.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Energized by fast-paced environments and tackling challenges head-on.
• Team player who can also lead when appropriate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Craft bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and analyze subcontractor bids.
• Assist with trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Draft recommendation letters to owners.
• Maintain schedule updates to keep projects on track.
• Manage the RFI process and oversee submittals.
• Track punch lists and support project closeouts.
• Monitor the Cost Control Log and participate in PM meetings.
