Job summary

McGough invites you to join its DoD Skillbridge Internship/Co-op in Project Management for hands-on experience on high-profile construction projects. You will work with mentors, gain exposure to bid processes, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and closeouts, and contribute meaningfully to project teams across our sites.

You will develop practical PM skills, collaborate with professionals, and participate in trainings designed to accelerate your construction management career at McGough.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Self-motivated with leadership potential and initiative.
• Willingness to learn across project management tasks and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and sending bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and apply math skills.
• Review subcontractor bids and evaluate options.
• Assist with trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Draft recommendation letters to owners.
• Provide regular schedule updates to keep projects on track.
• Support RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and closeouts.
• Participate in PM and corporate meetings.
• Engage in training and development opportunities.
