• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Learn effective communication by working alongside a Project Manager throughout all phases of a project.
• Assist with project coordination, documentation, and daily operations.
• Develop a deeper understanding of programs like Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
• Write professional emails, read technical drawings, and interpret job specifications.
• Participate in meetings to learn how Project Managers communicate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Gain exposure to project scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and project closeout activities.
• Be exposed to job site safety and have multiple opportunities to visit active construction sites.
• Develop an understanding of how commercial construction projects progress from award through completion.
