Job summary

TMG Construction Corp in Leesburg, VA invites energetic undergraduates in engineering, construction management, or related fields to join our Construction Intern program. You will work with the Project Management team and gain hands-on exposure to estimating, scheduling, RFI processing, shop drawings, and document control.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and email.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and visit job sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager, Superintendent, or other management roles in the construction process through all project life-cycle phases.
• Assist in processing shop drawings, RFIs, document control, change management, and related activities.
• Help in estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination as needed.
• Assist in quantity surveying using digitizers and 3D modeling software.
• Support the change management process, including logging, pricing, and drafting change orders.
• Contribute to project closeout activities to ensure timely completion.
