Harmon, Inc. is offering a Summer Internship Program for a Construction Project Management Intern. You will support active construction projects from planning through completion, working with experienced project managers and field leaders across the country.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in construction-related fields with a minimum GPA and a strong drive to learn. This on-site internship provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and growth opportunities within Harmon’s project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining subcontractor files, job folders, and project documentation.
  • Supporting project schedule updates and tracking project milestones.
  • Developing and managing project correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, design firms, and owner representatives.
  • Reviewing project documents, including shop drawings, transmittals, bulletins, addenda, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Monitoring construction schedules and assisting with critical path schedule updates based on actual project progress.
  • Supporting the processing of progress payments, change orders, and extra work orders.
  • Assisting with development and tracking of project punch lists.
  • Participating in project team meetings, progress meetings, and scheduling meetings.
  • Recording and following up on meeting notes and action items.
  • Maintaining project logs and organizing project paperwork.
  • Assisting with construction inspections and reviewing construction drawings and blueprints.

As a Construction Project Management Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects while working alongside experienced project managers, field leaders, and industry professionals.
