Job summary

Huseman Group in Columbus, OH seeks a Project Manager who takes ownership, moves projects forward, and delivers results from bid through closeout. You will lead coordination with owners, trade partners, field teams, and stakeholders to keep schedules and costs on track.

The role requires a bachelor degree in CM/Engineering, 3–7 years of relevant experience, proficiency with Procore and Phoenix, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as a co-op, Project Engineer, or equivalent.
• Reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specs.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and inspections.
• Strong communication and collaboration with contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with higher education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand project plans, owner contracts, MSAs, and project scopes.
• Support prequalification, bidding, and buyout; participate in pre-bid walks and scope reviews; prepare scopes for bidding.
• Maintain drawings, specs, directories in Procore; review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, samples.
• Create procurement logs, track permits, and lead meeting agendas/minutes.
• Build/update project schedules in Phoenix; drive Lean with weekly work plans and pull-planning.
• Manage cost controls and report financial status using Viewpoint standards.
• Oversee project closeout from start to finish with complete documentation.
