Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to drive the successful execution of assigned projects under the Project Manager’s direction.

You will manage contract administration, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors, and ensure work meets schedules and quality standards. You will conduct on-site visits, review plans, and supervise field installations, while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalent studies or experience will be considered.
• High degree of technical/administrative experience.
• Completion of, or initiative to enroll in, an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare contract administration for assigned projects.
• Execute and direct project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct on-site visits to oversee project layout and scheduling of materials, tools, equipment, and information.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and interact with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager, Project Manager, General Superintendent, and HR; review documents and resolve construction difficulties.
• Ensure all work conforms to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
