Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction, industrial and municipal projects. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and hands-on Excel/Office skills to manage field operations, timelines, and budgets.

The successful candidate will coordinate organization and administration, ensuring accurate timelines and tracking for active projects and upcoming work, while maintaining safety and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have strong communications skills with prior management and construction experience or be a recent engineering graduate.
• Candidate will oversee organization, administration, and coordination of elements involved in the construction of a project.
• Leadership and computer skills with a heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Customer and Operations involved in the execution of a project.
• Manage all cost tracking and revenue reporting/forecasting for the project.
• Schedule Prepare/Tie-In with contractor schedules.
• Pre- planning and resource forecasting and inventory management.
• Work with management for all major equipment/supply purchases.
• Attend construction planning meetings and project/site walks.
• Assist in quality control and safety of all projects.
• Provide job site assistance to manage field operations.
• Complete projects on schedule, within the allotted budget, and in accordance with QAQC standards.
• Review all required reporting/collection of time and daily report logs (From operations/superintendents).
• Review/Approve/Submit all vendor and customer invoices, checking items, project info, dates, rates, etc.
