Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Manager to direct day-to-day management of a large construction project on-site in Jacksonville, FL. You will create a detailed project plan, lead stakeholder communications, and manage risk to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires a degree in engineering/construction management and 4+ years of GC experience, including team leadership. Expect a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with opportunities to advance and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of construction experience; experience with a general contractor on large-scale projects preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of contracts and risk management.
• Ability to secure permits and ensure insurance coverage for subs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Manage risk and monitor progress against the project schedule.
• Lead communication among project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineering and design firms.
• Lead project meetings and team development.
• Prepare monthly job status reports and project close-out documentation.
• Support business development through proposals and presentations.
