ARCO is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead construction projects in White Plains, NY and Jersey City, NJ. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, and on-site leadership from day one, ensuring project performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related program.
• 1–5+ years of hands-on construction experience as a Project Manager, Assistant PM, Field Engineer, or related internships.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines and re-evaluate priorities.
• Commitment to quality and integrity in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage both the administrative and technical aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, reporting, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates.
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in owner meetings to review scope and suggest value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout and subcontractor selection.
• Lead bi-weekly on-site progress meetings.
• Balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines to drive 100% completion.
• Communicate with leadership and train interns/co-ops.
• Make sound decisions with personal responsibility.
• Plan and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Drive continuous improvement using client feedback.
