Job summary

Russell is seeking Construction Project Interns for 2027 to work with project teams on real construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll be paired with a PM or Superintendent and carry real responsibilities on an actual jobsite.

You will support with RFIs, submittals, scheduling, safety meetings, inspections, and progress documentation, with mentorship and opportunities to present in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CM/CE or related field.
• Strong communication and eagerness to learn.
• Able to work collaboratively and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, and change orders in Procore.
• Assist with scheduling coordination and subcontractor communication.
• Participate in jobsite walks, safety meetings and inspections, quality control and progress documentation.
• Help track project progress and organize project files, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Compile punchlists and close out documentation.
• Shadow estimating and preconstruction on active pursuits; gather information for estimates, proposals, drawings and takeoffs.

About the Role

Russell is taking applications for 2027 Construction Project Interns now! Join our project teams for hands‑on exposure to how commercial construction actually gets built — from preconstruction through closeout. This isn't a shadow-and-observe internship. You'll be paired with a Project Manager or Superintendent, carry real responsibilities, and see your work show up on an actual jobsite.

How You'll Contribute

• Support Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, and change orders in Procore

• Those who are currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong communicators who are comfortable asking questions and eager to learn about our exciting and growing industry
