Job summary

Confidential Employer in Alameda, CA seeks an experienced construction Estimator to translate plans into accurate bids for rigging, steel, machinery installation and metals projects. You will work closely with field crews to align estimates with site realities and lead the bid process from scope to proposal.

You will review drawings, develop labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor estimates, and help transition awarded work into field execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience preferred.
• Direct experience with rigging and steel work required.
• Experience with steel erection or machinery installation valued.
• Ability to read plans and bid documents.
• Local to Alameda/Bay Area and able to work on-site.

Location

This is an on-site opportunity in Alameda, CA, offering close collaboration with our estimating, operations, and field teams. Candidates must already be local to the Bay Area, as relocation assistance is not available.

Note

Candidates must have experience with both rigging and steel work. We are looking for someone who understands how this work comes together in the field and can apply that knowledge to accurate, practical estimating.
