Job summary

Floodproofing.com, Inc. in Mt Royal, NJ is seeking a Project Estimator who will set up new projects in our sales management system, analyze takeoffs, and prepare cost proposals for in-house products.

You will coordinate with sales representatives and suppliers to ensure timely deliverables. Responsibilities include inputting projects into Salesforce, generating accurate project assessments, producing quotes for customers, and assisting in closing projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building plans and specifications.
• Experience with construction estimating.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze new project submissions daily.
• Input new projects into Salesforce and server.
• Complete accurate project assessments/take offs.
• Generate cost proposals for in-house products.
• Work with suppliers to get quotes for 3rd party products.
• Independently analyze pricing and bid decisions on a project-to-project basis.
• Produce quotes to be sent to customers.
• Assist in the effort to close projects.
• Assist in the hand off of closed projects to project management team.
• Monitor takeoff and quote queues to ensure deadlines are met.
