Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to lead bid development for services across projects. Under the Estimating Manager, you will prepare bids, own the bid process, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure safety, cost, profitability, and timely delivery.

The role requires reading drawings, performing take-offs, and using MIKE software. Candidates should have strong mathematical, analytical, and communication skills and experience in construction estimation.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or trade school in construction related field; bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering/construction management.
• Five years’ experience in construction, preferably as estimator or project manager.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and take-offs.
• Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits bids.
• Owns the bid process including safety, cost, profitability, schedule, and contract terms.
• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Visit job-sites and consult with PMs and Superintendents as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with sales, leadership, and GCs.
• Enter bids into bid log; participate in sales meetings.
• Support change orders with Project Managers.
