Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Rapid City, SD is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the VP of Construction and project managers. You will assemble estimates for commercial and multifamily projects and coordinate with clients and vendors.

You will prepare RFP proposals, evaluate quotes, and develop cost analyses to inform project decisions. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines in a construction environment.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with multi-family and/or commercial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of building codes applicable to scope.
• Ability to read blueprints and specs.
• Strong cost analysis and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create proposals for both simple and complex RFP offerings.
• Receive and evaluate quotes for applicable scopes and bid documents.
• Qualify vendor proposals to identify omissions or duplications.
• Maintain client/vendor records and file project documents promptly.
• Prepare detailed cost comparisons and quantity take-offs.
