Job summary

Scull Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Supervisors with technical guidance to ensure compliance with codes, drawings, and specs. You will assist in estimates, change orders, and data analysis to track progress.

You will work with PMs and Lead Estimators to coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and material delivery across multiple projects and sites. A training program will develop supervision or PM track skills for the future.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar discipline.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organization skills, effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), and the ability and desire to learn Primavera P6, ProEst, and Procore.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

Detailed support and follow up for and on behalf of the Scull Construction Project Managers, Superintendents and other team members as required
Working with the construction team to assist in the completion of projects
Managing cost reports, analyzing budget variances and recommending strategies to lower project costs; reviewing labor quantities and phases to facilitate accurate project tracking
Responsible for management of special projects, as needed
Responsible for all document control of project(s)
Primary quality control officer on project(s)
Primary safety engineer on project(s)
Tracking, preparing, reviewing and approval of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, RFPs, ASIs and meeting minutes
