Job summary

Buch Construction in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team, primarily the Project Manager and Superintendent, to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will handle construction administration, coordinate information flow, and assist with schedules, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.

The role requires a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or Associate’s in related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of design and construction principles; safety standards awareness.
• Organized with strong time management and prioritization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with initiative to learn and grow into leadership.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce Buch Safety Program on site.
• Provide operational support across preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Coordinate, review, and track submittals and RFIs to keep schedules on track.
• Incorporate submittal/RFI responses and drawings into current construction docs.
• Prepare closeout documents: as-built drawings, manuals, warranties.
• Support environmentally responsible and sustainable construction.
