Job summary

Brinker Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on multiple construction projects in Detroit, MI. The role involves distributing project correspondence, reviewing shop drawings, updating the schedule, and tracking material delivery to ensure all work aligns with the project scope and timeline.

You will guarantee timely submittals and RFIs, coordinate with subcontractors and owners on change orders, and upload progress photos to company systems for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field is required.
• 5–7 years of industry experience.
• Ability to read drawings, contracts, and specs.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Set up contracts and project data in Procore.
• Review and track submittals and RFIs.
• Maintain and update project schedule with input from PM/Superintendent.
• Coordinate change orders with subs and owners.
• Track material and equipment deliveries and inspect progress.
• Prepare monthly status reports and owner updates.
• Attend meetings and document minutes.
• Support project close-out activities.
