Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc is seeking a Project Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role supports the Project Manager on multiple projects, handling cost control, scheduling, procurement, and documentation to ensure project success.

The incumbent will work with diverse teams, prepare field reports, and help drive project delivery with LEAN/SQP practices. Travel up to 25% is required, and E-Verify may be used in hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of construction-related experience.
• 2 years' experience or equivalent construction background.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Generates and obtains approvals of monthly billing and earned values.
• Develops and manages the project schedule on small or mid-sized projects.
• Analyzes targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports.
• Coordinates with the Superintendent, Field Project Engineer, and PM to manage procurement and transition.
