Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE licensure required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with construction administration & inspection is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in construction administration and inspection services for roadway/bridge projects.
• Manage roadway/bridge projects and municipal utility or infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Marketing on the technical aspects of proposals.
• Monitor and enforce project standards and specifications.
• Read and apply blueprints and construction documents for infrastructure projects.
• Travel to project sites to inspect construction and ensure contractor compliance with plans and specs.
• Supervise Technicians and Inspectors performing inspection and materials testing.
• Oversee on-site inspections including soil compaction, slump tests, and cylinder testing.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Notify Project Manager of status updates and non-conforming work.
• Review project submittals including CPM schedules.
• Communicate with clients on deliverables.
• Assist with proposals and cost estimates.
• Develop/manage schedules, budgets, and quality of work.
