Job summary

Apollo Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team in Austin, TX. The role is onsite with remote support for a project and per diem provided, requiring strong technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

You will handle jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals), manage logistics, assemble budgets, coordinate deliveries, oversee subcontractors, and update schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage jobsite documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals)
• Coordinate jobsite logistics, supplies, and badging/orientation
• Schedule and track deliveries of equipment and materials
• Assemble project estimates and budgets
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors
• Attend project meetings and record outcomes
• Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
• Update project schedules and productivity tracking
• Communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders
• Read and interpret project specifications and technical drawings

Education
