Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for banking industry construction in Warren, MI. You will set up projects, review drawings, manage documentation, and coordinate with estimating and field teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of commercial construction experience, a Construction Management or related degree, and proficiency with Procore and Excel. Occasional travel ~2–3 days/month to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Construction Management or similar degree required.
• Experience interpreting construction plans and specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Set up construction projects including subcontractor onboarding and closeout docs.
• Maintain project documentation and records using Procore and Excel.
• Review and analyze drawings, blueprints, plans, specs, contracts.
• Prepare, process, and track RFIs, submittals, prime contracts, and other documents.
• Coordinate with the Estimating team during bidding and preconstruction.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, permitting, and coordination.
• Assist with evaluating project costs and change orders impact.
• Coordinate subcontractors, clients, site personnel, and internal teams.
• Support field and site coordination during execution.
• Travel to project sites, approx. 2-3 days per month.
