Job summary

fs3|Hodges is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team in the construction management field. The role emphasizes on-site technical support to the construction manager and rigorous document control across RFIs, submittals, change orders, and ASIs.

The ideal candidate has 3-6+ years of project engineer experience on major capital projects, including commercial or technical facilities, with strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of project engineer experience on capital projects
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager
• Responsible for project document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs) and filing
• Organize and maintain project files
• Assist CM with change order management and prepare change orders for processing
• Manage the closeout and turnover process
• Assist CM in preparing project files for audit at project completion
• Verify site conditions and provide support as needed
