Job summary

fs3|Hodges is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role provides on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager and manages project files.

Ideal candidates will have 3–6+ years of project engineer experience on major capital projects, including commercial buildings, hospitals, or labs, with proficiency in Procore or Primavera P6. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of project engineering experience on major capital projects.
• Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and techniques.
• Proficient in Procore or Primavera P6 construction management software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• CQM-C certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager.
• Responsible for project document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs).
• Organize and maintain project files.
• Assist CM with change order management and prepare change orders.
• Manage the closeout and turnover process.
• Assist CM to prepare project files for audit at project completion.
• Site conditions verification and support as needed.

fs3|Hodges is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team. As a leading project and construction management firm, fs3|Hodges is committed to providing exceptional services and delivering high-quality projects for our clients. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various construction projects, from inception to completion.

Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager.
• Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc.
• Organize and maintain project files
• Assist CM with change order management. The PE shall be able to independently review change order requests for merit and fair pricing, and prepare change orders for processing.
• Manage the closeout and turn over process.
• Assist CM to prepare project files for audit at project completion.
• Site conditions verification and support as needed.

Requirements

• 3-6+/- years of project engineer experience, including major capital projects including commercial buildings, including laboratories, hospitals, or other building projects of a technical nature
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
• Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification is preferred
