Job summary

Hansen Mechanical Contractors, Inc. in Nevada is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support Las Vegas project teams by coordinating project information related to execution, scheduling, and billing.

You will help with organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, and assist the Project Manager in resolving field problems as they arise. The ideal candidate may be a new graduate with a Construction Management degree.

Qualifications

• New grads or pursuing degree in Construction Management highly preferred.
• Construction experience would be a plus.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Review contract and bid documents; understand scope for turnover and attend walk-throughs.
• Assist with project document control including insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, and changes.
• Ensure documents are centrally saved in the project document control software.
• Verify drawings are distributed to field and on-schedule.
• Support project scheduling and manpower planning and coordinate with foremen on safety.
