Job summary

Poole and Kent Corporation, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on commercial construction projects. The role involves on-site collaboration, documentation, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

You will assist with contracts, QA/QC, and reporting while coordinating with site superintendents. A mechanical or related degree and field experience are preferred, with OSHA knowledge and local market familiarity

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or Journeyman status.
1–3 years of mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC field experience.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
Knowledge of construction contract language.
Local market familiarity desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist with execution and management of project contracts.
Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
Perform QA/QC for equipment, materials, and related documentation.
Maintain regular communication with project superintendents on site.
Generate and maintain project documentation (RFI, submittals, plans, specs, subcontracts).
Comply with safety programs and company policies.
