Job summary

RBABuilders is seeking a Project Engineer Level 2 to take on greater responsibility in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial projects. You will support project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients while growing with a company that values safety, accountability, quality, and its employees.

You will review drawings and specs, manage submittals and logs, coordinate RFIs and change orders, and help with estimating and schedule management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Experience with scheduling tools and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations and coordinate across project types and scopes.
• Review drawings, specs, reports and understand their impact on execution.
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, project docs and logs.
• Coordinate RFIs, change orders and cost tracking with teams.
• Contribute to estimating work, bid packages and subcontractor reviews.
• Help manage schedules, procurement activities and critical milestones.
• Partner with managers and superintendents on daily execution and closeout.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, architects, clients and internal teams.
• Promote site safety and ensure procedures and documentation are followed.
• Organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Inthisrole,you’llapplyyourconstructionexperiencetosupportcommercialprojectsfromstarttofinish.You’llworkcloselywithProjectManagers,Superintendents,subcontractors,andclientswhilecontinuingtogrowwithacompanythatvaluessafety,accountability,quality,anditsemployees.

WhatYou’llDo

• Supportfieldoperationsandcoordinateworkacrossdifferentprojecttypesandscopes.
• Reviewdrawings,specifications,reports,andotherprojectdocuments,andunderstandhowtheyaffectprojectexecution.

• Abachelor’sdegreeincivilengineering,constructionmanagement,orarelatedfield.
• Strongabilitytoreadandinterpretconstructionplans,scopes,andspecifications.
• Workingknowledgeofconstructionsoftware,includingschedulingtoolsandprojectmanagementplatforms.
• ProficiencyinProcoreorasimilarplatformforprojectdocumentation,coordination,andtracking.
• Asolidunderstandingofconstructionmethods,materials,andindustrypractices.
• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoworkeffectivelyacrossteams.
• Theabilitytoindependentlyreviewprojectdocuments,identifypotentialissues,andrecommendsolutions.
• AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeapplications,includingWord,Excel,Outlook,andPowerPoint.WorkingknowledgeofBluebeamispreferred.
• Strongorganizationalandtime-managementskills,withtheabilitytomanagecompetingprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment.
• Aproactiveapproachtoproblem-solvingandtheabilitytomovetasksforwardwithminimaloversight.
• Dependability,punctuality,andaprofessional,positiveapproachwithteammembersandstakeholders.

PreferredCertifications

• ProcoreProjectManagementCertificationpreferredbutnotrequired.
• LEEDGreenAssociate.
• OSHA10orOSHA30.
