Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Engineer to organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings, and to collaborate with the project team to complete RFIs and submittals.

You will monitor material delivery, assist in inspections, prepare closeout data, and support warranty activities. Two years of project engineering experience and an industry-related degree are required; data center experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of project engineering experience required.
• Fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Industry-related college degree required.
• Data center experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, update, maintain and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs.
• Review submittals and project docs for accuracy against plans and specs.
• Assist in inspections, audits, and non-conformance logs.
• Monitor material and equipment delivery status.
• Maintain and distribute project logs (buyouts, submittals, RFIs).
• Understand scopes of work for subcontracts and PO agreements.
• Track change requests; solicit pricing and draft change orders.
• Support project schedule management.
• Attend meetings; record and distribute minutes.
• Gather closeout information; prepare as-built drawings; assist warranty.
