Brinkmann Constructors is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in day-to-day construction management. You will help with safety, cost estimation, scheduling, and risk management while supporting preconstruction estimating and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Architectural or Construction), construction management or related field is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of required safety standards and procedures.
• 1+ years' experience in construction; prior conceptual estimating and bidding experience preferred.
• Procore, P6, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and enforce safety standards; conduct weekly safety inspections and monthly safety audits.
• Enforce quality standards and conduct quality control audits.
• Support preconstruction estimating, takeoffs, cost, and duration of projects.
• Assist in negotiated and hard bid estimate process with value engineering.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and assist in subcontract selection and execution.
• Prepare bid proposals for owner submission and obtain permits.
• Coordinate material and equipment procurement and expediting.
• Maintain project documentation and RFI/submittal logs.
