Job summary

Eastern Companies in Duluth, GA seeks a Project Engineer to support the execution of diverse construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality results.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture, 1–3 years of project engineering experience, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 1–3 years of project engineer experience.
• OSHA 10 Training; 30-hour within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to meet milestones.
• Documentation & Reporting: RFIs, submittals, change orders, meetings, daily reports.
• Budget & Cost Control: track costs, review invoices, procurement; assist owner billing.
• Quality Assurance: support on-site safety program and inspections.
• Subcontractor Management: coordinate with subs and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Site Visits: inspect progress and support field teams as needed.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: ensure clear, consistent updates.
• Problem Solving: identify risks and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
• Technology Integration: leverage construction tech to improve efficiency.
